Landing Pages

A landing page is not a smaller version of the homepage. It exists to do one job: match the promise made in an ad, a promotion, or a specific offer, and move that specific visitor toward one action without the distraction of a full site's navigation.

Message match matters more here than almost anywhere else on a site — if the headline someone clicked doesn't appear on the page they land on, they leave. That match gets built in from the first draft, not bolted on afterward. Same offer, same language, same promise, all the way from the ad to the form.

Everything that isn't the offer gets removed. No full navigation pulling attention toward other pages, no unrelated services competing for the click — one page, one decision to make, and every element on it working toward that one action.

The form on a landing page is built to qualify, not just collect. And tracking goes live before the campaign does, so ad spend isn't running blind from day one — you'll know which version of the page is actually converting, not just that traffic showed up.

These pages are also disposable in a good way — built fast, tested, and retired or replaced when the campaign ends, without dragging the rest of the site's structure into a temporary promotion that won't be relevant in a month. Running two offers at once just means two pages, not one page trying to explain both.
